Looking for information about David Howie Strachan, husband of Mary Helen Donaldson, father of many including Elizabeth Ramsay Howie Strachan (married John McMahon), David Strachan, Meg (Margaret?) Strachan. David was married in Dundee, Scotland April 28, 1876.
I believe that family may have been from Montrose, Scotland as I have heard that his father was a pilot for sailing ships out of Montrose.
