Irma Fern Strain Beavers, 80, of Granbury, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2009, in Granbury.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2009, at Granbury Church of Christ. Burial will be in Granbury Cemetery. Visitation 6 to 8 p.m. today, Saturday, at Wiley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Beavers was born March 13, 1928, in Martin, to William and Mamie Martin Strain. She married Cleve Beavers in 2007 in Weatherford.
She had lived in Granbury since 1937, and was a member of Granbury Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters.
Survivors are her husband, Cleve Beavers of Granbury; stepchildren, Stephanie Fisher and husband, Bob, of Round Rock, Leslie Leal and husband, Frank, of South Haven, Miss., Lea Holder of Memphis, Tenn.; and four grandchildren.
