Thanks again to Ron Stretton, who put me on track back to Samuel Stretton, married to Sarah Robinson in Leicester. From there I get back to Samuel Stretton, his father (my GGGgrandfather, married to Lucy Woodhouse. Is there anyone out there with an interest in the same branch? Samuel and Sarah had two children born in France 1843 and 1845 (family tradition says he was a stonemason and worked on cathedral restoration) as well as one in Coventry, one in Portsea, and several in Leicester. I only have family information for one sibling of my GGgrandfather William, Fanny, born in Leicester, who married into the MEASURES family in Leicester
