I do not know if any of you have found this,
so I will go ahead and share it.
The Library of Congress has a manuscript
database that is very revealing for us
Stringfellows.
Apparently, in Rock Hill, SC. at the Winthrop
University Library there is a manuscript
collection of over 500 pieces, by a gentleman
named William Kirkwood Stringfellow,
documenting Stringfellowana from the 1600's
to 1957!!!!
This is a quote from the listing,
"Textile industry employee, of South
Carolina. Genealogical material and
narratives relating to Adair, Gaston,
Simonton, and Stringfellow families;
together with reminiscences of
Stringfellow's childhood in Chester,S.C.

I wish I knew more about this collection,
and would love to go see it. If anyone
has actually seen the collection, please
write me, I would love a first-hand account!!
There are also some other intriguing
Stringfellow manuscripts listed there.
One of the other ones is a collection of
letters from Frank Stringfellow 1840-1913
to Jefferson Davis.
Sincerely,
John Stringfellow
