I am interested in your Mary Jane Evans (b.1833, AFN L3ZW-93) md William Guthrie in Missouri in 1853. Do you have additional information on William Guthrie?

My William H Guthrie, b abt 1820 in Missouri and died 1896 in Oregon md Mary J Ivines/Evans [per Family Data Collection birth of Anstrilia Guthrie at Ancestry.com] b Feb 1833, TN and died after 1903.
Children: Marg., James A, Anstralia, Adelia A, Lesscinda (sp?) female, George W, W. J., Laura Nancy (my 2 gr grandmother), Mary Guthrie.

Laura Nancy Guthrie md William Madison Peden 14 Jan 1886 in Wymore, Gage, Nebraska. William is son of Henry Draper Peden and Mary Ellen Johnson of Davis county, Iowa.

Yes I would like very much to exchange notes with you. My husband is the Great-grandson of Willard Spencer Stringham.
His daughter Cora Esther Stringham Cole was his grandmother.
His mother was Genova Lorena Cole Lake. His name is Lonnie Lake but I am the one who does the genealogy. He just watches. Whatever I have I will be more than happy to share and also glad to get anything you have. Thanks Jimmie Lake

I haven't found anything in my Stringham genealogy regarding the death place of Julia Almira Taylor Mann Stringham. However, I do recall reading somewhere that she did indeed die in California.

I am related to Almira Taylor Mann Stringham and have been trying to find where she is buried.I have been told she died in California in 1891. Mr. Stringham is supposed to have died the same year but no location mentioned.

This is my family. William is my gg grandpa. I have been to Oronoque Cemetery just west of Norton, KS where Azariah and Mollie (Bacon)Heath, Elias Bacon and William and Polly (Heath) Stringham, as well as other family members are buried. I have seen William's father listed as Smith Stringham on a NY census and Oliver Smith Stringham listed in other genealogies. William and Polly's daughter Mollie Malone (Stringham) Davis, who married King Samuel Davis is my great grandma and their daughter Blanche Lula (Davis) Phillips is my grandma.

I'm looking for the PARENTS of Lydia Ann Stringham b. abt 1816 in Fort Ann, NY. Another source lists her born in Whitehall, NY. She married William F Reed on Jun 1 1859 in Deerfield, County of Franklin, MA. He was born abt. 1838/1839 in Shutesbury, MA.
I have searched every available source and come up with nothing.

Please send copies of your photos and the pedigree for Hattie Haller Stringham. I believe I could be a relative. The siblings of my grandmother, Helen Frances S. Forgey, all had these names. They grew up in eastern Colorado, but this is likely a generation before, possible siblings to my ggrandfather, James Grant Stringham b. 22Apr1866 and wife Martha Ellen Plummer b. 7Jul1867. I may have come across one of your missing Stringhams. There is a single stone, not in a family plot, in the abandoned Curtis Cemetery in Shelby Township, Macomb County, MI. On the stone is Isaac Stringham died Age 10y 7m. Transcription says d. Mar 15, 1819? but date is highly suspect as cemetery was not used until c. 1830.

As this is the only Stringham stone in the cemetery, and no local land records show any Stringhams in the area, I believe that Isaac may have fallen ill or had an accident and died en route to the family's new home.

If there is any chance it fits with your family, I'd appreciate knowing a more likely date.

Ancestry and Rootsweb show several family trees which include "Henry B. Stringham", b. 1801, Westchester County, NY. We have 2 purposes in the post: 1) we find NO EVIDENCE that Henry's middle initial was actually "B". If anyone listening to this list knows the source for this information, please reply with same ... and 2) Henry was orphaned early in his life. If anyone knows who he was raised by, please reply with this information.
