I have three original Cabinet Card photographs of “Charles Strobel, father of Kate Leipold”, “Mother of Kate Leipold”, and “Kate Strobel Leipold”, which I’d like to get back to descendants or family members. Photos of Kate and of her mother were taken in Batavia (Kane Co.) IL, and Kate looks about 30, while her mother is about age 55. Photo of Charles Strobel was taken in Chicago, and he looks about 60.

I found the family of Charles, spelled “Stroble” in the Batavia (Kane Co.) IL census for 1900, giving his date of birth as Oct 1834, Germany. Wife was Fredrika, born Dec 1842 in Germany. Kate was listed as Catharine in the 1900 census, Kane Co., IL, wife of Charles M. Leipold. Her DOB was Dec 1866.
