I am exploring a possible connection to this family with either the "Stroebele" family of Albany, NY, or to Johann J. "Stroebele" who immigrated to Jersey City, NJ from Prussia in 1882. I am in possession of a copy of a post card sent from a relative in Prussia to an "Aunt Josephine and uncle Fred Strobel". The only Fred and Josephine I could find in NY/NJ was the one from NYC. Please let me know...
