Carl Stroke

Carl Stroke, 76, of 216 Prescott Place, died yesterday, (May 26, 1967) in Muhlenberg Hospital.

Born in Poland, he had resided in Plainfield more than 50 years. He was a caretaker at Treelawn Terrace Apartments and a communicant of St Stanislas’ Church, Plainfield.

Surviving are his widow, Maria Stroke, a son Joseph C. of Plainfield, three daughters, Mrs. Michael Byrns of Los Angeles, Mrs. George Gutheridge of Morgan, and Mrs. Anthony Krynski of Plainfield and a sister, Mrs. Nellie Lestarchuk of Plainfield.

A funeral will be from the Higgins Home for Funerals Monday at 8:30 am, followed by a Requiem High Mass at St Stanislas’ Church at 9am. Internment will be in St. Josephs Cemetary, Bound Brook.
