Yes - I think his father and mother and others moved to FL? I believe the father was a brother or cousin to Rocco Strollo who died in Bronx in 1956. Rocco was my husbands gfather

YOUNGSTOWN, OH – Gale A. (Strollo) Rudolphi, 57, died, Wednesday morning, July 27, 2011.

Gale was born Sept. 23, 1953, in Youngstown, Ohio (Mahoning County) the daughter of Lenine and Mary Frances Wasko Strollo and was a life long area resident.

She was a 1971 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and was currently employed at The Ankle and Foot Care Center at North Side Hospital.

She was a very active member of her church and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Besides her father, Lenine and stepmother Antoinette, she leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Angela (James) Metzger; a son, Anthony Rudolphi; four grandchildren, Luke and Ben Metzger and Elysia Rudolphi and Josiah Gonzales; three sisters, Janice (Ronnie) King, Sharon (Gary) Luc and Lisa Licata; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; as well as her aunts.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Frances and her grandparents.

The Rudolphi family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, Ohio and will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home and on Monday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 1, 2011 at the Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Austintown, Ohio.

i am trying to find out more about my family from italy . my name is carrieann strollo from fall river ma. i am the daughter of michael angelo strollo and grandaughter of anthony bender strollo from italy.my grandfather pased away a long time ago ...but his name was well known. i just wouldd like to know alot more about my family..and i would love to visit some of them soon in italy.... i also would like to say i have a cousin paul strollo from rhode island and two cousins named frank strollo,and david strollo from utah.

My great-great-grandmother Teresa Strollo was born 14 Oct 1823 in Torre le Nocelle in the province of Avellino in the Campania region of Italy. Her husband was Clamanzio Ardolino (1810-1871). They had 5 children; Giuseppe, Carmine, Pasquale, Maria and Angelo.
Strollo Ascendancy:
Teresa was a great granddaughter of Vito Antonio Strollo, who I understand was born in 1706 in Cogliano. Vito Antonio's spouse was Brigida Luongo (1710-1756) and his parents were Angelo Strollo (b. abt 1675) and Angela Iammerella.

But I couldn't find Cogliano on the map of Italy, so I was wondering if Vito Antonio Strollo was actually born in Colliano?

All related to Rocco Strollo who arrived 1898 from Buccino/Colliano Italy
Rocco Strollo married Maria D'Allessandro approx 1903 and children were
Lil, Joe, Florrie, Aida, Mae, George, Gil

Looking for Roccos Siblings and cousins, etc (Parents were Joseph (Guisseppe?) and Angela

Also looking for any connetions going back to Buccino/Colliano

I am trying to help my husband trace his mother's "strollo" family
She was born (1910 in Broklyn NY) Amalia Maria Strollo and went by the name "Mae Francis". she married Robert Lawton George and had 2 sons< Gilbert and Richard.
Her parents were Rocco Strollo and Maria D'Allesandro
Rocco's parents were Joseph Strollo B Colliano Italy and Maria Gonfredini
Maria D'Allesandro was daughter of michael D"allesandro and Angela Tempone b Moliterna Italy
I would appreciate and help you might be able to offer
