My ancestor Daniel Sturdy was a chemist in
Cranbrook, Kent, England in the 1870s. I have
just started researching the name and find
most Sturdys (there are not very many) come
from the north of England e.g. Newcastle,
Sunderland, Northumberland, Sheffield etc.
Is anyone else looking at this? If so, let's
share info.
