I would love to get more information from you. I was adopted by my step-father after he married my mother in 1978. My father married shortly before or after my birth in 1971, and I believe he may have worked in banking.

The information that I have is not all that specific. I was born in Bridgeport in 1971. I believe the first child born to my father after me was a son, somewhere around 1972-73. My mother's name is Dulce Brelsford. She met my father while working for a bank in Bridgeport. My father's parents also lived in Bridgeport. Sometime before or after my birth, my father married and moved to Massachusetts. My father gave up parental rights when my step-father adopted me and my name changed from Brelsford to McNamara sometime after 1978.

Dear Kimberly,

My great uncle, Dante Suffredini (Dan), who, if memory serves, lived in Connecticut. One of his kids might be the right age to have had children in 1971.

Email me, we can talk some more and I can try to get information for you (though I don't want to get your hopes up -- I've never heard anything in the family about a child placed for adoption). I'll help if I can.

Karyn

I guess that makes us some sort of second cousins -- our grandfathers were brothers! My grandfather, Peter Suffredini, was your grandfather's "baby" brother.

Feel free to email me if you're ever interested in tracking our side of things further ... I think my uncle Pete has some interesting documentation about our grandparents and the business they were involved in in Philadelphia when they were young. It's floating around somewhere ...

Best wishes,

Karyn Suffredini Price

Hi,

Dante (Dan) Suffredini was my grandfather. My mother, Rita, was the second of seven children...most of which were the right age to have a child in 1971, however, there was no robert among them. Joan, Rita, Mike, Anthony, Ann, Angela, Joeseph. I did hear about other Southern CT Suffredini families though...I think in Bridgeport CT?

Feel free to email me if I can help.

I am trying to locate my birth father whom I have never met. His name is Robert Suffredini. At the time of my birth in 1971 or just prior, he lived in or around Bridgeport, Connecticut. If anyone has information, I would appreciate it.
