William SUGARS born Wilshamstead 1798 is my ggggrandfather. I have a fair amount of information on this rather troubled branch of my family. William was put in prison for desertion at one stage and his entire family was in Goldington workhouse ! The benefit is that his physical description was put on record !
According to me there were three YOUNG children - Elizabeth, John and William. William YOUNG married Mercy SMITH and had three children- Florence, Kate and Elsie.
