      <description> 1 July 1942  Evening News of the Tonawandas&lt;br&gt;Fatally Hurt as He Steps From Bus&lt;br&gt;Porter at Ellicott Creek Manor Struck by Automobile Near Home&lt;br&gt;Funeral services will be held Friday morning for Andrew Sukaj, 50, of 2546 Falls boulevard, killed by an automobile as he alighted from a bus at the junction of the boulevard and Ellicott Creek road early yesterday morning.  The rites will be conducted at the Hilliard Funeral Home, 147 Delaware street, at 8:30 o?clock and from the St. Christopher church near Ellicott Creek Park half an hour later.  The Rev. Bertrum Trautman will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Olivet.&lt;br&gt;Sukaj was employed at the Ellicott Creek Manor, Ellicott Creek road and Falls bouelvard.&lt;br&gt;He was born in Hungary and had resided in the United States the past 35 years.&lt;br&gt;</description>
