I have a James Sulcer married to a Kate Kohr d/o William Kohr
(1860 - 1915) and Theresa Holfelder (1868 - 1955).

The information I have on him comes from a family history written by my great uncle, Robert G. Rice, "The Family of Ralph Rice and Barbara Kohr by Robert G. Rice."

Here is what he says of James Sulcer (p. 57):

"My father left Jefferson [MD] and came to live in Johnstown [PA] sometime in 1908 to find work in the steel mills. He was 23 years old. I believe that he was accompanied by Frank Darner, who remained a lifelong friend but who later returned to Maryland, and by James Sulcer, who later became his brother-in-law when he married my mother's sister, Kate."
