Which Thomas? There was Thomas b1/15/1775 d 6/10/1855 m. #1Maud Arnold and #2 Mary Workman who is buried at Alex Sullivan cemetary in Mize. Then there is Thomas Jefferson who was the 1st child of Old Thomas and Mary Workman. I believe the house you are referring to is Thomas Jefferson's. Thomas Jefferson is buried in a small cemetary in Covington County, east of Mount Olive just before you get to the Smith County line, but his father is buried in Alex Sullivan cemetary between Maud and Mary. I live in the area and visit the Alex Sullivan cemetary regularly. If you need info, let me know.
