Hi David, Thanks for your message, Ada had 2 other sisters Florence and Edith, I did not know about Edith till a couple of years ago. Florence was my g grandmother. The girls parents were Thomas Surrey and Caroline nee Stead.Thomas 16/9/1840 - 10/2/1872 drowned on River Thames, Caroline 26/4/1843 - 7/12/1874 she died in childbirth, who was the father!!!! email me on carole@cwiffen.wanadoo.co.uk please it would be great to be in contact. Last known contact with this side of our family was in 1949 at my parents wedding.

Ada Maud Surrey (Henness) was my great grandmother on my Fathers side.I have litle information on that side of the family other than the time spent in the orphanage,nothing before that.I would be happy to pass on any information required on the Henness (later NEWHAM)side and hear of anything that went before.David Newham

Hi Freebmd has a birth for Edith Alice at Greenwich 1865, and a marriage in 1888 at Romford (Essex) which isn't too far away from Greenwich.

looking for info on edith alice surrey born c1866 greenwich, kent to thomas and caroline surrey nee stead, other children ada maud b1868 and florence born 1871, nothing else known about edith except for 1871 census entry.Florence is my g-grandmother. any help appreciated.all census and death cert info known except for Edith.

Looking for info on Terrell Henderson Jackson b. 02/22/1907 and died Nueces Country who was married to Ella Odelite Gotcher. HAve no other info. Daughter is JoAnn Jackson b. 06/17/1939 in Dallas County who was married to Richard Alan Surrey born 09/13/1934 in Harris County.

Paternal grandparents: Thelma Oveata Bracewell b: 12/06/1908 d, 06/15/1994 married to Edward Arwid Surrey b. 02/19/1901 d. 06/1965.

Caleb (father) and Annie Surrey (daughter)

Anyone who has any information about either Caleb or Annie Surrey I would appreciate it. Esp. any information regarding Caleb Surrey's lineage.

Annie surrey was born about 1886 and died about 1897. No exact date of birth for Caleb. He married Dollie (Dolly) Daniels in about 1880.
