I'm not a susoeff, however i am trying to get in touch with one :-) I'm an old friend of jaime susoeff and I am interested in contacting her. it's been several years since we've spoken, but I think she is around age 25-27. If anyone knows how to reach her you shouldn't tell me cuz that would be kind of unsafe if you gave out that info to someone you don't know...lol. I have Samarin relatives, Molokans, came from Kars, turkey 1900''s, settled in guadalupe valley, mexico..Anna Afonin and Vasily Samarin, had 8 kids, one (Rochelle) was my grandmother..

Allan.....I haven't heard back from your father and his pictures. Dad is the last surviving POPPIN sibling. He's 86 years old. Cousin Junie Popoff died a few years ago.

The Jabins lived right across the street from us; Dorothy babysat for my little brother, Mike, from the time he was a toddler until he was in school. And it's not Paula -- the daughter's name was Darlene (I hope I got it right this time).

Yes John and Dorothy Jabin lived on Wisconsin Street with their son John and daughter Shirley. I had never heard anyone use the name Paula. John senior was my Grandfather's nephew.

No Stephanie, I don't think I'm related to the Tolmasoff's you mentioned. Many of my relations (by marriage) are in Oregon.

Do you think your Aunt Manya might want to correspond with me through e-mail? It's been a long time since I've even seen her (maybe 30 years) and even then it was at a funeral.

The only Tolmasoff I know who has a wife named Vera had a nickname of "Tamol". "Tamol" had an older brother named Basil who's wife's name was Marian. If this is the right Tolmasoff, I knew Vera slightly. It's sad to hear about all these people I knew (I've lost touch. I live in Santa Rosa, CA).

Yes, I know what my Auntie Manya is up to! She and her daughter Cindy are living in Alhambra, CA.

Auntie Manya is ill with Crest Disease. A disease of the lungs, I believe.

We correspond by email and phone. She is still full of fire and a wonderful source of joy to me and my daughter.

My mom, Rae Susoeff has Dementia and liver cancer. She is still going on -but would like to go home to Jesus. Until recently, she was quite lively and full of life.

Are you related to Al Tolmasoff? Vera Tolmasoff (his wife) is also suffering from Alzheimers and is in a home in Costa Mesa. My daughter and I visit her when we are down there.

My Great Aunt Nadje who was married to Jim Susoeff just passed away two weeks ago. We grew up at my grandmothers on Potrero Hill next to the Molokan church. There are Jarkiehs, Loskutoffs, and Slepnikoffs in our family. Most still live in SF or the Bay Area.

My great grandparents are Alice Bogdanoff and Michael Loscotoff. I know that they are from Kars or Salim. But in one of my letters explaining it, there is a part that says that there is an Aunt that is buried in Potter Valley who is the sister of Bill Susoeff.
They were also Molokans that lived on Potero Hill in San Fransisco. ANY RELATION?
