Hello,

Samuel Swan, age 26-45, was in the 1800 census in Warren, Litchfield County, CT with two males under 10, one male 10-16, one female under 10, one female 10-16, one female 16-26, and one female 26-45.

There are no deeds for Samuel Swan in either Warren or Kent (the parent town), and his name does not appear in Fran Johnson's wonderful book, or the Barbour Vital Records for Warren or Kent. He must have removed elsewhere, but where?

Who were his children? Did he have son David? There was a David Swan listed in the 1800 Warren census immediately above him, age 16-26, with one male under 10, one female under 10, and one female 26-45.
