Surnames: Sweaney, Sweany
Researching this surname (along with Sweany) in all locations. Many individuals with both of these unusual spellings were found in Maryland in early 1800s, some immigrated to Tuscawaras Co. OH and then on to Delaware Co. IN. My Sweany line continued into WA and settled in OR. Please contact me to share info. Interested in where in Ireland they may have come from. Thank you!
