Napoleon Swearingen
Manchester, July 28 – Napoleon Swearingen, 70, retired Sprigg Township farmer, died at his home this morning following an illness of heart ailment. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Clara Swearingen; three brothers, Homer, Mont and Hershel, all of Manchester, and three sisters, Mrs. Rosa Hill of Kansas, Mrs. Alice Mattock and Mrs. Eva Hoadley, both of Illinois. Funeral services will be held at Elaine Nesbit funeral home at 2 p. m. Sunday with Rev. F. H. Karns officiating. Burial will follow in Manchester I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
