I am a DAVIS family researcher in Maryland. We have Charles Davis that married Lydia Swearingen, b. 1726 dau of John and Mary Ray Swearingen. We have Lucy Davis b. about 1742 that married Van Swearingen born 1746, son of John and Mary Ray Swearingen. I am wondering about a husband for Katherine Swearingen b. 1734. Does anyone have a spouse for her? I wonder if perhaps she may have married our John Forrest Davis who is a brother to Charles Davis. John married a Catherine/Katherine around 1745-1750 in Maryland. John and Catherine Davis migrated to Washington County, PA, Fayette County, PA and later Warren Co. Ohio. Any ideas? Janis redwingersgen@earthlink.net
