Looking for additional family info on Margaret Swearingen, born 1716 in Prince George's County, Maryland.
I believe Hugh Warren married into this family as he is the executor of the Santelo Dyer will in 1732 in Prince George's County, Maryland. What has been ascertained is that Lydia Ryley married Thomas Swearingen in Prince George's County, Maryland in 1708. Thomas Swearingen and Lydia had several children; and one of these children; Margaret Swearingen is believed to have married Hugh Warren. Richard Warren is listed in Queen Anne's Parish; Prince George's county records as born in 1732 with the father being Hugh Warren and mother being Margaret. The connection to the will of Santelo Dyer is via Lydia Ryley who was the sister of Samuel Ryley. Samuel Ryley had a daughter named Margaret Ryley who married Santelo Dyer in 1723, also Prince George's County, Maryland. These Dyer and Swearingen families were on the move to Virginia and elsewhere; leaving only Hugh Warren, who is now believed to have married into this family to execute the will of Santelo Dyer. The Warren, Swearingen, and Dyer families also end up in Frederick County, Virginia before 1745 where Hugh Warren died between 1745 and 1747. Margaret is involved in a lengthy battle to keep her children and is believed to have remarried to Thomas Buck. Being that Hugh Warren and Margaret Swearingen are both listed in Queen Anne's Parish records; and also found in Frederick County, Virginia; this appears to be much more then coincidence. Any additional information with regard to these families may be helpful in connecting this strong circumstantial evidence.
