Daniel M. SWEENEY, 53 years old, died at 7 o'clock yesterday
morning at his home, 127 Cypress Avenue. Mr. SWEENEY had
lived in Kansas City one year, coming here from St. Joseph, Mo.,
where he was born and had lived previous to coming to this city.
He was employed in the offices of the Chicago, Rock Island &
Pacific Railway Company in St. Joseph.
Five brothers, T. P. SWEENEY of St. Louis; M. K. SWEENEY
of St. Joseph; and J. J. SWEENEY, J. I. SWEENEY, and W. M.
SWEENEY of this city, and two sisters, Mrs. Annie BENEDICT
of Excelsior Springs, Mo., and Miss Agnes SWEENEY of this city,
survive. Funeral services will be held at the Holy Cross Church,
St. John and Quincy avenues, at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning.
Burial will be in Mount St. Mary's Cemetery.
