I am trying to find out more about Daniel Sweeney born 1766 in Greene Co., PA., died in 1851 in Tyler Co, WV. His son was born in 1810 in Greene Co. Daniel Jr.'s son, William H. Sweeney, was born in 1837, also in Greene Co. William's daughter was Nancy Jane Sweeney, born in 1863 in Tyler Co. WV. She married William L. Taylor in 1884. I am her great granddaughter. I am trying to find out more about the Sweeney's and Taylor's. They all resided on the Pennsylvania and West Virginia borders. I would love to find out when the Sweeneys came over from Ireland. Our family's oral tradition says that that is where they originated from. Any Sweeneys or Taylors that may be related, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks in advance.
