I am still seeking the family of Phebe SWEET, born about 1800. I would like to know her parents and any siblings.
Phebe married John PIERCE in March of 1820 and had sons, Leroy Edward (1824), Clarence D. (c1826), John W. (c1827), and Asiph C. (c1832), all born in Cortland Co., NY.
Her husband died in Mar 1840. She and her sons emigraged to Iowa around Anamosa (Jones, Linn, Cedar Cos.). She is found with the 3 younger sons in the 1850 Iowa census, Leroy Edward having married Romelia PEET the year before the census, so was not listed with the family.
