Does anyone know anything about the Sweets buried in Phoenix NY, which is in Oswego County. I have photos of the headstones but I need the connections. Sterling Eano Sweet, my ggg-grandfather was born in Phoenix but lived and died in MO. I have no concrete info on his parents and sibling,if any. Family rumors say he had a sibling that may have died young possibly a sister.
Sterling was born in 1844 or 1846. Served in the NY Vols. during the CW worked for a railroad after and met and married Namcy jane Harrison in Piedmont MO. They bought a farm in Zalma,MO. He died in 1903. Nancy and Sterling had 4 daughters.
