ANNETTE BEICHLEY
Mrs. Annette Swenson BEICHLEY was born Feb. 27, 1881 at Junction City, Kansas and died March 28, 1972 at Abilene, Kansas at the age of 91.
She taught in the rural schools of Geary county and towns adjoining. She was married to Franklin BEICHLEY Jan. 3, 1912. He was a Santa Fe Railway station agent and the family lived in several Kansas communities before moving to Abilene after he retired. He precede her in death on Oct. 21, 1956.
Mrs. Beichley died at the Abilene hospital after a long illness. Two sons were present for her funeral, Maurice BEICHLEY of Murrysville, Penn., and Wendell BEICHLEY of San Francisco, Calif. Other relatives present for the funeral were Enoch BEICHLEY of Salina, a brother-in-law; Mrs. W.J. Broom of Salina, a sister-in-law; and others. Unable to be present were Eunice BEICHLEY of Topeka and Rua BEICHLEY of Jersey City, New Jersey, sisters-in-law.
Services were held April 1 at the Martin Funeral Home in Abilene with the Rev. G.P. Minner officiating. Burial was in the Abilene cemetery.
