Bill: I have just gotten the Symes family information from another tree and I too have gotten the same line to King Edward. There is some dispute regarding the child of Cardinal Beaufort. His daughter is supposed to be Joan Beaufort. Some documents on the Cardinal dispute that she is his daughter. Her mother was married at the time of her birth. I am reasearching this as I write this, and when I find out some information, I will post again. - Robin
