NORMAL -- Olivia "Gail" Szabados, 61, of 101 N. Grove St. Normal, died at 6:50 a.m. Sunday (Feb. 29, 2004) at Martin Health Center, Bloomington.
Her memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Epiphany Church, Normal, with the Rev. Monsignor Thomas Maloney officiating. Inurnment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Bloomington. There will be no visitation. Carmody-Flynn Williamsburg Funeral Home, Bloomington, is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the grandchildren's education fund, c/o the family.
Gail was born April 26, 1942, at San Francisco, the daughter of Edward and Leota Howard Osburn. She married Fred Szabados on Dec. 31, 1959, at Placerville, Calif. He survives.
Other survivors include her father, Edward Osburn, Bristow, Okla.; two daughters, Lori Pickett and Karen (Ken) Mlincsek, both of Normal; one son, First Sergeant Fred E. (Chris) Szabados, Sabillasville, Md.; five grandchildren, Kristina Mlincsek, Heather and Mindy Pickett and Derek and Amy Szabados; and one brother, Edward A. Osburn, Lamar, Mo.
Her mother preceded her in death.
