Looks like you are doing research on TAM family but that you have CRAFFENs in your lineage. What do you know about that family? I just found that one of my ancestors, William Craffen Haslup, signed a draft card for either WWI or WWII. Had only seen his middle initial before and have not seen this name before, either. There is no message board on Ancestry for CRAFFEN.

The only "evidence" for a James Tam married to Ellen White is, so far as I know, the "Tam Family History" written by Fred Tam in 1960. Is any other source known?

But, Delaware Marriages 1645-1899 reports a Samuel Tam married Sarah Morrell on 26 Jan. 1754 in Sussex County Delaware. I believe they had two children, John and Joshua because of implied relations in some probate records. Also, Samual, John and Joshua are all over the records of the militia for the War of 1812 when the Britsih sailed right up the Chesapeake Bay.

Re: FLOYD TAM _DEAD WHITE PLAGUE

Marsha-I believe this Floyd is a son of Milton Tam, who was a son of Elizabeth (Walters) Tam Klingamon. I do not know her husband's given name. I don't have much info, and may be confused as to the different generations of Elizabeth's. Will you email me and give me an answer? I sometimes forget to check the boards, and email is quicker. Thank you. Barb.
