I am Lope Tamargo, 83 years old, born in the Philippines. I am the eldest of six children of Eulalio Tamargo. I am probably one of the oldest Tamargo that came from an ancestry in the Philippines. I don't really know where my Family name came from. But my ancestor appeared in the Philippines by early 1800 to 1820. Based on our country's history, during this time Spain colonized our country and I'm not sure how my ancestor got this Family name. I am currently gathering and writing about my ancestry based on my recollection of what my grandfather had told me.
