Looking for the family of T.C. (Tekel) Tanner born in Breckinridge Co. in 1808 or 1809. By 1833 he was in Louisville having married Ellen [-?-] sometime before 1831. They had at least four children; Elizabeth, born circa 1831, John, born circa 1832, Adeline (my gg grandmother) born circa 1833, George W. born circa 1840 and Benjamin F. born 20 September 1844. After a short stint in Randolph Co. Illinois in the early 1840's, T.C. returned to Louisville Ky with son George where he lived out the rest of his days. What became of his wife Ellen is unknown. The three eldest children were all born in Kentucky and George and Benjamin were both born in Illinois. I have some information indicating that Tekel's mother was named Elender (Eleanor?) and that he had two brothers, John born circa 1819 and David born circa 1814. Other than this I know very little about his family and relations. Any information you could provide would be much appreciated. Thank you.
