Want info on parents of Ivan Tarasoff who came to New York City as the Ballet Master for the New York Ballet Company in about 1911. He met Margit Olsen, a young aspiring ballarina in the Norwegian company when he was working in Norway. She followed him to New York where they were married. While still a young man, before the Marxist Movement took over Russia, Ivan, who had been trained in ballet, went to Paris and started his career. He became a very well-known figure in the ballet world and knew Nijinsky personally. If you know this family, I would appreciate a reply. Thanks!
