Over the years has become Tazzyman. Looking for information re workers coming from Holland to drain the fens in around 1665. Suspect this is where he originated. He was married 2/3 times. His second wife had two sons John and Thomas, Thomas was my ancestor. His last wife was Mary Scottand they had 2 daughters, Susan and Elizabeth.

Hi,
I have a Mary Tazzyman, married Michael Heads at Dowsby Lincolnshire under the name of Mary Tazzy in 1802.
She died in 1827 aged 52
Has anyone got a Mary born at that time?
I found her name in a settlement examination of 1811
Michael and Mary Heads, ( nee Tazzyman) and their three children were removed from Billingborough back to Dowsby.They also spent time in the local workhouse.
Anyone know who her parents were?
Michael was my husbands 3 times great grandfather.

My Great Grandmother was born in Nyack, NY August 10, 1847 and died October 6, 1924 in Nyack. She was the daughter of Thomas Tasman born May 15, 1808, died July 27, 1887 and Jane Myers born March 27, 1816, died January 10, 1871. She was a direct descendant of Abel Tasman who discovered New Zealand and Tasmania. Does anyone have information that would be useful in tracking the history back any further?
