About 15 years ago I copied the following from a bible with a published date of 1847. It was actively infested with bugs and the person who owned it planned to burn it to kill the weevils. Last known location Indianapolis. I copied the following on a scrap of paper.

Benjamin Tay died July 26, 1851 - 78 years

I have saved this scrap of paper for years- thinking it might help someone else or perhaps it might tie into my in-laws family tree. While I copied the spelling faithfully, these spellings may not be accurate. The 9 and 4 were very hard to tell apart. My guess is that the Chal listed may have been Charles. These names appear to occur in Massachusetts and there is a town named Westborough in Massachusetts, but this is purely a guess on my part.
