Hi All,I am looking for info on George Taylor b. 1804-1810 VA, d. 1850-1860,
the son of John Taylor and Mary Rea of Giles Co., TN. He married
Charity ? and they had the ten children listed below.

George and Charity appear in the 1850 Census for Lawrence Co., TN
with children Solona, Leroy, Essy B., James D., Ebenezer, Henry C.,
and Robert. Then, Charity appears as head of household in the 1860
Census for Pope Co., AR with children David, Harper, Andrew, Henry C.,
and Robert.

1. Leroy J. Taylor b. 1834 TN. He married Sarah ? and they had
eight children: William, Mary C., Henry C., Margaret, Sarah, Lulu,
James and Sonona E. They appear in the 1860 Census for Pope Co., AR
and the 1880 Census for Collin Co., TX.

2. Essy B. Taylor b. 1836 TN.

3. James D. Taylor b. 1838 TN

4. Ebenezer Taylor b. 1839 TN

5. Solona G. Taylor b. 1840 TN. In 1853 in Lawrence Co., TN, she
married Zachariah E. Gordon b. 1833 TN and they had five children:
George, James, Augustus, Anna and Sarah. They appear in the 1880
Census for Collin Co., TX.

6. David C. Taylor b. 1842 TN. He appears in the 1870 Census for
Collin Co., TX.

7. Harper S. Taylor b. 1843 TN. In 1859 in Pope Co., AR, he married
Mary Ann Clementine Pless b. 1848 NC and they had five children:
Sarah C., Minerva A., William F., Ida R., and Robert R. They appear
in the 1880 and 1890 Census for Pope Co., AR.

8. Andrew C. Taylor b. 1845 TN, d. 1921 Rains Co., TX. In 1867 in
Pope Co., AR, he first married Martha Jane Isbel and they had no
children. In 1873 in Collin Co., TX, he second married Martha Ann
Jenkins b. 1845 NC and they had five children: John, Frances, James
Wilson, Daniel Gordon, and Andrew Carroll. In 1883 in Fannin Co., TX
he third married Louisa Ann Dorsey and they had eleven children: Mallie,
Mattie, Lewis, Maggie Ellen, George Robert, Benjamin Franklin, Sarah Ethel,
Emmitt E., Foy Carroll, Samuel and Claude Earl. Louisa had two children
from a previous marriage to F. M. Smith: Mary Ann and Henry. Andrew and
Louisa appear in the 1880 Census for Collin Co., TX.

9. Henry C. Taylor b. 1847 TN. In 1868 in Pope Co., AR, he married
Mary Hinshey.

10. Robert Taylor b. 1849 TN. In 1867 in Pope Co., AR, he married
Julia A. Smith b. 1852 TN and they had a daughter named Dora.
