one. joseph taylor came from n.y. married catherine van dyke. they landed and died,in tennessee. many van names run through our taylors. i wish i had a photo of phobe.a phobe also married into my taylors. i think she married rueben, could have been one of his brothers. these were my great-greats. they also relate to patricks. was probably once, kirkpatrick. probably dropped the kirk, as many people with long names,in early days did this to spell their names, easier.the kirkpatricks were BIG names, in england.
