Ms. Armstrong, may I know how you are related to Mr. August Tech? You see, my maiden surname is also Tech and I come from the Philippines. When i was younger, my dad would always tell me and my siblings that our family name originated in Germany. And that's the only information I know about this surname. I recently got curious about it and that's when I found this website. I have a relative in Chicago whose surname is also Tech as well as in Toronto, Canada. It surprised me to know that people with the same surname emigrated there in the US in the 1920s. I hope to get an email from you

This is a branch of my husband's family tree. I have been working on this family for a long time and finally let it aside, before I went crazy. I would love to get with you and share what I have and see if you have anything that can help me past this roadblock. Hi, I just came across this post. August Tech was my Great Great Grandfather. I believe his father was August Heinrich Tech & Mother was Carolina Tech. There was a story that he had a brother and the two went their separate ways after arrival. Alot of effort has been spent trying to verify this but to no avail. Do you have a connection to this family?

Please HELP !!! I am looking for information on August Tech b: 1-11-1846 in Germany, d: 3/6/1926 in Charter Oak Iowa. He was married to Florentina Pobanz. I have unverified information stating that This August's parents were August Sr and Carolina Ratz, but can find nothing else on the family. Anything will that will help get me pointed in the right direction would be great.

Tech in Wisconsin

Ferdinand Ludwig Tech and his wife Caroline ( Kaems ) Tech emigrated to New York in 1856 with 2 sons,her parents and some siblings to Wisconsin. They are in the 1860 census in Manitowoc, Wi. Sons are Julius and Wilhelm Tech. Julius married Bertha Gomall and Wilhelm married Emilie Gattin. Always hopong to connect with other family, and am willing to share what I have. Sally
