I sent my last post to my sister for her input and here is her reply:

OK, here are some corrections/additions:

Tammy (I think her middle name is Marie, but I'll have to check) --> Tammy's middle name is Lou.

Clyde Jr married Marie Antoinette ("Toni" but I can't remember her maiden name) --> maiden name is Singletary Toby (?) --> spelled "Tobie" --> middle name Lynn (like Uncle Darrell)

Leslie Wayne married Nelda (?) --> Jo is Nelda's middle name; I can't remember her maiden name (Mom will know) Kerry (?) --> spelled "Kerri" --> middle name Linette Gregory (?) --> middle name Joseph I can't remember Angie's middle name either.

Judy Gail .... Amy --> Amy's middle name is Michelle

Alton Murray ... Kelly and Katie --> both Kelly and Katie's middle names are Marie

Darrell Lynn married Janet Mechana and had 4 or 5 kids: but the only ones that I can remember off the top of my head are Tyler and Amelia --> Tyler (Janet's from previous marriage, but took the last name of Villar eventually - formal adoption, I'm not sure?). Amelia Ann, Alaina, and Sierra are the 3 girls. I can't remember Alaina or Sierra's middle names. Mom will probably know.

Karen Ann married David Odom --> Uncle David's middle name is Lee Jessica --> middle name LeeAnn Rachel --> middle name Laine and had a boy Brady by a second marriage (can't think of the name right now; I know that is bad) --> she wasn't married to Brady's dad - I don't know his name either (I don't think she ever introduced us to him) - BUT even though they were divorced for years before this, Uncle David let her give him the last name of Odom on his birth certificate so he would have the same last name as his sisters. But his birth certificate says Odom (and I'm not sure of his middle name)

Tammy married Murphy Yelverton --> middle name Eugene Gina --> spelled "Gena" --> middle name Marie Wesley --> middle name Scott "another girl" --> Molly Elizabeth (remember, we called her "Molly Little Bit" because that's what Wesley called her because he couldn't say "Elizabeth"?)

We can go into the next generation, too, but that's gonna take some time.

I'll try to find out some dates and more details but Clyde Julius Villar and Ruby Ann Templet have 8 children: Clyde Julius Jr, Leslie Wayne, Judy Gail, Kathy Jean, Alton Murray, Darrell Lynn, Karen Ann, and Tammy (I think her middle name is Marie, but I'll have to check).

Could you possibly fill us in on the dates/places for the children of Joseph Narcisse Templet and Madeline Babin? We only have some dates for Lula Mae, Peggy, Ruth Nell. Would appreciate it very much. We have Ruby married to Clyde Villar but no dates, children, etc. Thanks.

I wasn't really looking for anything in particular. I am just interested in all of this and was surprised to hear that there was a book (and from Ascension Parish, too! I am from Gonzales...) about Andre.

How I fit in is that I am a grandson of Clyde and Ruby (Templet) Villar, great-grandson of Joseph Narcisse and Madeleine (Babin) Templet. I have managed to trace back to Andre Templet and was hoping to find out more about him and HIS background.

My husband is son of Rita Templet and Joseph Albert Rogers. Rita is daughter of Edmond Willie Templet and Malvina Mary Babin. They had eight children.
Edmond is son of Paul Florestin Templet and Ida Mary Miller. They had eleven children.
Paul is son of Rosemond Valere' Templet and Carmelite Aglae Bourgeois. They had eleven children.
Rosemond is son of Charles Noel Andre Templet and Marie Eulalie Adelaide Ive Crochet. They had tweleve children.

My name is Faith Marie Templet Prows, i am the daughter of Jerry Peter Templet and Sally Mary Benoit, My fathers parents were Elvia Paul Templet and Oceanna Galliano, Elvia's father was Pierre B Templet, and his mother's parents were Salvador Gallino (which the town of Galliano was named for) and Eva Marie Chouest ( of the Edison Chouest shipping co. of Galliano). My dad always said he had relations in Pierre Part. My grandfather had 7 children,
Vivian, Robert, Alvin, Norma, Loraine, Norman and of course my dad.
My mother was the daughter of Adam Joseph Benoit and Louise Thibodaux and they had 18 children, Arthur, Jerry, Tessie, Virgie, Sally, Autry, Rodney, Merleane, Vernon, Hazel, LLoyd, Irvan, (twins)Erma and Elma, (twins) Peter and Paul, Richard and Patricia. And I'm having problems finding their line. I know my grandfather's dad was Arthur Joseph Benoit married to Elise Tabor and my grandmothers parents were Alance (or Alan) Thibodaux and his wife Tolaine Hebert thats as far as it gets for me. If u have any info on them it would be appreciated thanks so much.

The only info I have thus far is what u have given me. My father is Jerry Peter Templet B: 12 Sept 1931 lives in Choctaw, midwifed in St. Charlse, Louisiana, son of Elvia Paul Templet, B: 6 Aug 1887, born in Bayou Bouef, Louisiana, D: 23 March 1977 of heart disease, son of Pierre Belizaire Templet, B: 24 Sept 1862, D: 19 Sept. 1894 he was married to Lydia Landry of whom I cannot find any info.
My father is married to Sally Mary Benoit and had 8 children: Faith, Jerry,Jr., Josh, Michelle, Lisa, Jessica, Louise and Charisse. Desperately trying to find Lydia Landry, B: abt 1860.
My father's siblings are: Vivian Templet Chauvin, Robert, Alvin, Norma Templet Hubble, Norman, Loraine Templet Iron.
My grandfather Elvia was married to Oceanna Galliano, B: 27 Feb 1892, D: 25 Mar 1987 they lived in St Charlse, and moved to Metairie in their 70's. Her parents were Andre Galliano and Eva Marie Chouest, Andre was the son of Salvador Galliano of Spain or Italy (not sure of origin) the town of Galliano was named for him, he had 14 children and was born abt 1826. Eva Chouest is in the Chouest family from down the bayou of the Edison Chouest shipping co. If u find any infor on Lydia Landry please help. I have come to a dead end on Pierre B Templet any help there is appreciated to. hope to here from u soon

is Andre Temple part of the Templet Family? The furthest i got was Pierre Belizaire Templet, looking to find his parents. Pierre was my grandfather's (Elvia Templet) father, but can't get any further than that.

Elicia Lucie Tabor, wife of Arthur Benoit, mother of Adam Benoit,her father was John Jackson Tabor B: 13 Feb 1857,he was the s/o Ruben Tabor, born abt 1817 of Mississppi. His mother was Marie Rosalie Benoit, B: 04 July 1828 of La.
Elicia's mother was Zulma Moliason, Born 13 Apr 1963, D: 9 Dec 1891, Lafourche Parish, La. Zulma was the d/o Pierre Melius Molaison B: 06 July 1826 Louisiana D:15 Aug 1903.
his wife was Rosema Hebert B:21 Sept 1842 Louisiana.
