Biographical History for Samuel Hanway Teneyck is on http://www.countyhistory.com/doc.marion/324.htm
Says he was b.8-25-1870, parents Edward and Martha (Hanway) Teneyck and was eldest of two children (brother Edward b.1877). Married 1-1-1887 Dovie C. Lancaster, dau.of George W. and Hattie (Blue) Lancaster, who were among the early settlers of Indiana. Samuel and Dovie had George Lancaster 7-23-1888 and Clyde Hanway Ten Eyck b.2-18-1890. Mr.Teneyck's father came from Ohio and his grandfather was the first grocer in Indianapolis. Edward learned the calling of a Railroad Engineer in early life and has followed that calling ever since.
Samuel was a druggist with a place at the corner of Illinois and Thirtieth Streets, Mapleton, Indiana.
I'd like to know about his father Edward Teneyck and mother Martha Hanway. Any help?
