My Terrien/Gauthier connection (actually my husband's) is this:

Joseph Elie Gauthier (1640-1700) m. Marguerite Moitie (1645-1701). They had a daughter: Marie Gauthier (1671-1755). Marie married Denis Charland (1656-1703). They had a daughter: Catherine Charland (1693-1749). Catherine married Andre Therrien (1678-1749). They had a son: Denis Therrien. He had a son: Jean Francois Therrien. He had a son: Gedeon Edouard Terrien (note spelling change). He had a son: Cyrille Terrien. Cyrille had the family name changed to Taylor sometime after 1870. Cyrille had a son: Gedeon Noel Terrien (was born before name change). Gedeon had a son: Cyrille Sherman Taylor. Cyrille had a daughter: Betty Jean Taylor. Betty's son is my husband: David Vickery.

Terriens of Vermont

I am researching the Terriens of Richmond, St. Albans Vermont. My husband's mother was Leona Terrien. Her father was Arthur (son of Tussaint Terrien & Sophia Selliers) and mother was Nellie Griffin. She was born in 1912, died in Sutherlin, Oregon in 1991. She married Derwood Elliott of Morgan, Vt.

I am looking for:

The Story of our Terrien Family. I was reading it and it stopped in basically the beginning. I am not sure but I got this from you a couple of years ago. We were both on a message group and you sent the beginning of this,how can I get the rest? Also you mentioned a map.

My ancestry's were in Quebec and followed a Father Chirniqui to Illinois to start a new church. The church was St. Ann's in St. Ann, Illinois.

My great grandfather Scott Alexander married Julia Terrien in 1883.

Julia's family went to Kansas to farm Before Julia married, and were there quite awhile. Then they returned to Momence, Il.

I am not sure if they were on the Osage or the Wyonette reservations but papers I have my grandmother had talks about the Terrien's going to Kansas in5 covered wagons.

Do you know any of this part of the family or am I asking the wrong person? I really want to proove her being Indian because my great grandfather died real young and she raised both her kids but also her sisters kids. I just want to know about the whole family.

Joseph Terrien/Josephine Bohn

I am searching for information on Joseph TERRIEN married to Josephine BOHN/BONN(?) about 1871. Joseph moved to Allouez, Mich. from Canada and married Josephine Bohn. Her parents were from Prussia.

My great grandmother Gertrude TERRIEN was born in 1883 in Allouez, MI. Because Gertrude was born after 1880 and married before 1900 to Amable Lecuyer in Calumet, MI, I cannot find her living with her parents because of the loss of the 1890 census.

Additional children of Joseph and Josephine may have been Joseph, Elizabeth, Josephine, Mary, Edward, Margaret.

Any information that can help me with my search would be greatly appreciated.

Odilia Terrien was married to Battis Gallipu in l875 in Shaftsbury Vermont, USA. Is there anyone who has a Galipeau in their tree? I have their decendents complete tree.

Just flipping through and saw this. My grandfather James Terrien came to San Diego from Wisconsinn and his parents are from Quebec, maybe some link, I don't know. Interesting though and glad to help, I would also like to know more.

Della aka Lucy Terrien (b. 1802 Canada) married Joe aka Joseph Depatis (b. 1804 Canada) circa 1820/1830. They had three children, one of them, a daughter, Lucille (Lucy) b. 1844 in Canada (French). Lucy marrried Lawrence St. John in Kankakee Co., Illinois in 1862.

Della Terrien died at the age of 77 (location unknown).
Joe Depatis died at the age of 82 (location unknown).

I am looking for information on Della aka Lucy Terrien's parents and family.

I would be interested in info you have on the Terrien family. I have been able to trace my husband's family to 1620 Larochelle France: N and Inconnu Terrien. Although we've been able to trace the direct lines we haven't been able to fill in siblings and spouses.

Any help or link would be appreciated.

Paul... I think you are related to my husband.

I've been working on his family tree for 31 years and didn't make a good connection until the 1930's census came up last summer. Going back a couple of census I discovered that his great grandfather changed his name from Terrien to Taylor.

Here's Dave's line. If you've got more info on brother's and sisters and such, I would appreciate anything you can give us so we can fill in his side of the family tree.

I am searching for more information on Berthelemy Terrien. He married Veronique LeClerc 6 Sep 1785 at St-Charles-de-Bellechasse, P.Q.. Their daughter Magdelaine Terrien b about Dec 1786, died Apr 1874 at St.Gilles-de-Beaurivage, Lotbiniere, P.Q. she married Germain Montminy 6 Jul 1807 at St. Joseph-de-Levi, P.Q. and they had 7 children. They are my great-great grandparents.
I am trying to find the parents of Berthelemy Terrien birth etc. any other information that may help me in my research.

Paul could you help me find the Terrien family? I know Herman Charles Terrien and his wife Nettie Jensky Terrien died in Washington State. Hi everyone. I am looking for Terrien ancestors. This is what I have on the family thus far:

Arthur Romuald Terrien, b. 7 Feb 1898 in Berthier, Quebec; d. 27 Dec 1963 in Worcester, Mass. Wife was Marie Rose Forand.

Father was Joseph Napolean Terrien, b. 29 Dec 1861 in Quebec; d. 6 Jan 1942. Wife was Marie Anne Auger.

His father was Flavian (Fabian) Terrien. Wife was Leocadie Guilbeault.

His father was Flavian (Fabian) Therrien. Wife was Marie Bourgois.

That is all I have. I can guesstimate that Flavian Jr. was born about 1840 and Flavian Sr. was born about 1820, both in Quebec.

Any help is greatly appreciated and I am always happy to exchange info!

Paul Terrien, My father's name was Paul James and my grandfather was Charles, his father was Paul James Terrien.
We could be related. Have just started getting into family history, we hail from Michigan (Upper) quite sure we are also from Canada somewhere.

Did your father have a sister named Marguerite (or Margaret)? And did he live in Waukegan, Lake County, Illinois in 1930 and is your Mothers name Celia?

I have a gggrandfather Otto Jeoseph Terrian b. 8 Mar 1857- St Joseph, Mo; d. 20 Sep 1936. Married to Rosalie Drapeau b. 2 Feb 1856- Mishicott, Wisconsin; married Aug 1873; d. 5 Nov 1923 ( I have a picture of her). They had 5 children: David Terrian, Otto Joseph Jr. (my ggrandfather), Elmer, George and Rosalie. Do these Terrian's tie into yours in any way?
