Robert E. Terrio

Robert E. Terrio, 57, of Concord, died Thursday at Concord Hospital. He
was born in Weare, the son of Robert and Ruth (Church) Terrio. He was
raised in Weare and lived most of his life in Concord. Terrio worked for Phil
Strong Roofers, for Frank A. Abbott Sr. and Sons Landscaping Co. for many
years, and for G. Ray Colby and Sons. He also worked as custodian for the
VFW, the Moose, the Eagles and the American Legion. Survivors include his
wife, Shirley (Strong) Terrio of Concord; a son, Jody Terrio of Concord; a
daughter, Tonia Dow of Concord; two stepsons, Richard Babel and Douglas
Babel, both of Manchester; three brothers, dennis Terrio of Warner, Bruce
Terrio of Weare and David Terrio of South Carolina; and many grandchildren.
A sister, Penny Otis, died previously. Calling hours will be held Monday from
6 to 8 p.m. at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., Concord. Funeral
services will follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Henry Frost will
officiate.
