Hi Windy,

I just joined ancestry.com about a month ago and just came across your response on the Tevlin thread. I am at a deadend looking for information on a JOHN L.TEVLIN of Brockton,MA. His approximate date of birth is 1897. I am looking for information on the Tevlins in the BOSTON area. I would appreciate any help your mother-in-law could give me if she is from the Brockton area. I have found this site to be very informative and spend many hours researching the Tevlin name. Thank you so much
Sincerely,
Mary Jo Tevlin

M. Tevlin

Mrs. M. (Mary?) Tevlin lived on Lime Street in Tampa, Florida, in 1925. She was the landlady of the house where my grandparents, David and Erna Milton, lived. Erna was an artist who did several paintings. She was killed by David in September of 1925. Mrs. Tevlin was very close to Erna, and kept her paintings after she died. She supposedly moved to Texas a few years after Erna's death. I would love to find anyone with information about Mrs. Tevlin, her family, and any descendants. I want to locate my grandmother's paintings more than anything. I know there's not much to go on, but maybe something will ring a bell out there. Can anyone help?
