Christopher Thorpe, 85, died early Saturday morning in Owensboro Daviess County hospital.
He is survived by four sons; Shannon, Evansville, Chaney and Christopher, Rockport, and Gordon, Kalamazoo, Mich.; 5 daughters, Mrs. Eula Wright, Wichita, Kans., Mrs. Ida Thurman, Mrs. Alice Morris, Mrs. Florence Lehr and Mrs. Myrtle Harrison, all of Rockport; 26 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildern.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in Boultinhouse funeral home with burial in Sunset Hill cemetery.
