5/5/2006 - Morgan Ross Thayer, 92, of Lakewood, Chautauqua Co NY and Jamestown,(Chautauqua Co) passed away peacefully Monday, May 1, 2006, at JFK Medical Center, in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Morgan was born in Buffalo, and resided in Florida for the past 48 years. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ralph E. Thayer, Jr.

Morgan is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Shirley Lawson Thayer: sister: Ruth Westcott of Palm Springs, Fla.: children: Pamela Diane Potts of Hobe Sound, Fla., Dennis Ross Thayer of Jupiter, Fla., Gary Bruce Thayer of Astor, Fla., and Deborah Ann Moreland of Jupiter, Fla.: grandchildren: Christopher Lee Potts, Jeffrey Alan Potts, Kinsey Summer Moreland and Matthew Ross Thayer. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, May 6, 2006 at 4 p.m. at Del Lago Chapel in Lake Worth, Fla. A graveside memorial service will be held in the fall in Jamestown. Morgan was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
