I was looking for my greatgrandfather from Prussia, John Thiel. Found him in the Castle Garden database as Johann Theil. So I guess I should switch over? Now I have to figure out where Prussia/Austria was! Anyone have Theils who went to NY around the 1860s'1870s? Thanks!
