Looking for descendants of Theiss family who came from Sehlen,Hessen,Germany via New York to New Orleans to Perry Co., MO in 1837. Anna Catharina Theiss with son Conrad, dau. Lisbeth and boyfriend Hannes Seibel and his brother Jakob. Also with them Wilhelm Kappel. In 1850 Missouri census were listed as Catharine and son John C. Theiss from Perry Co. They lived in Altenburg, Mo. If your connected, I have a story for you.
