Hello, Denise,
I am another Theys descendant. Don Ireland is descended from Charles, you're descended from Posifico and I'm desended from the oldest of the five brothers, Jean Baptiste (John). Doll, Jimmy and Ron Mangus are cousins. I don't know if Don sent you the picture that I took of my mother (one of John's daughters in front of Julius and Juliette's house in Jumet Belgium, but I thought I'd attach it here just in case. I'm curious about Uncle Posse' (as my mother and her siblings called him) and his descendants. If you get a chance drop me a line at my home E-Mail address - russeplett@comcast.net.
Here's the picture.
Russ Eplett

Hi Don:
Long time, Hope all is well. As you know, I was able to visit with Doll, and she and her brother showed us around South fork and gave a lot of info regarding the family. I have got some documents when Jules and a few of the brothers arrived here from Belgium. I was also able to see the pics that you had assembled. Would you mind sharing some of those pics and info you have with me? I will happily provide any copies of things that i might I have that that you may not. Let me know, will you. Have you talked with Doll? Her email address is not valid anymore.

Victor:

I am a Theys descendant (my mother's maiden name). I have a good deal of the information about the descendants of Julius and Juliette Theys, of which I am one.
Please write to me and field your questions. I have a good bit of information. Ron Sells, whose son-in-law is a Theys, has also begun researching the origins of the family in Belgium. He and I are trying to work together some on this... however, I'm really busy with my day job this month.
Do you have Microsoft Word? Let me know. I have some information saved in that format.

Regards,
Don Ireland
P.S. I have photos and more, too.
Greetings, fellow researchers!

I am a descendant of Julius (Jules) and Juliette Theys of Belgium, who moved to the South Fork-Johnstown area of Pennsylvania in the late 1800s or very early 1900s.
Thanks to help from some of the grandchildren of this original couple, I have pieced together a decent amount of information about the family. My mother's maiden name was Theys.
Jules and his wife had a number of children. Their offspring now live throughout the country. If you are one of them and can use any assistance, please write!

Don Ireland
Denver, CO (formerly Pittsburgh, PA)

Hello,
My grandparents immigrated from Marchienne, Belgium to the Johnstown area in 1904. They were Auguste and Celenie Cornelis and moved to the state of Indiana in 1906. My father was a small child at the time. When he applied for naturalization as an adult he stated that he was going to his Uncle Felix Theys in Pennsylvania when he left Belgium. Do you have this name in your Theys research? I would appreciate any information you could share with me.
