THIBAUT, AUGUST: BELGIUM TO USA

I'm looking for information on August THIBAUT, born in Belgium. He was a coal miner who worked the mines in at least three states that I know of: Missouri (Rich Hill), Kansas (West Mineral) and Washington (Ravensdale). At one time he was married to Mary APPLEMAN and later, to Eva (maiden name, unknown but August's stepson's surname (according to the census) was Le Conte. He probably had other THIBAUT family members in the USA.

Any help would be appreciated!

I wish I had information for you about August Thibaut, but I am unable to help with him unless my information about my great-great grandfather Leander Thibaut would help. The information you have about Leander is actually new to me, so I wonder if you could share any more that you know (or believe) about him. I would be so grateful to receive it.

I have an August THIBAUT, born in Belgium abt. 1862-1863, who immigrated to the U.S. abt. 1875, according to the 1910 Washington Census. He was 48 years of age at the time of the census. Living just next door to August in Ravensdale, King Co. WA is one Leander THIBAUT, age 49. They were both coal miners by trade. Leander was killed in a mine explosion at Ravensdale in 1915. Since the surname and country of origin is the same, I'm wondering if there may be a connection with your George.

Looking for information on August Thibaut, born in Belgium, possibly about 1862. August was a coal miner. First wife, Mary Appleman (also from Belgium) Second wife, Eva also from Belgium (according to the 1910 WA census). Stepson named in same census, Joseph LeConte. Lived in the Ravensdale district of King Co. WA and probably had a brother, Leander Thibaut who, I believe, was killed in a coal mine explosion at the Black Diamond Coal Mine in King Co. WA. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. I have found that my grand-grand-perent was Esteban Thibaut Urizar, and he maybe had a brother named Pedro. Not sure if they were born in Chile and their fathers were french or if they were french themselves. Some other member of the family told me that maybe Pedro Thibaut came from Grennoble, France at the end of 19 century. So, if you have information about some Thibaut Urizar family or some Thibaut family coming to Chili, just let me know. Thanks. Jorge.

I have some updated information on past information...
My notes from my mother say George Thibaut, born in 1859 in France.
His occupation was fine wines. George's wife was killed in an accident where she fell off of a balcony and was killed.
I know you had mentioned Mary F. was buried in Noble County, IN - I wondered if you knew a way for me to do some research in this area to try to see if I can make a connection. I am wondering if I have a conflicting first name for George - could this be Jacob A. that you speak of? Thoughts? Thank you so much for your time.

I saw your message on the internet and as you can see, I'm also one of the "Thibaut-clan" .I live in Belgium but my ancesters are from France. It should be a 150 years ago that one of my ancesters came to Belgium.I just started a research about my family but I don't have a lot of links. I do have a link to a Monsieur Thibaut who was born around 1850. He was a Priest who had a mother from France and a Belgian father. Maybe that is the person you are looking fore. I don't know for sure that he is one of my ancesters but it definitally can be so.
I hope you can find what you are looking for.
Best regards

Sylvia
