The 1881, 1891, and 1901 census records of Digby District, Nova Scotia, have two distinct families: that of Augustin and Rose Thibault, and Justine and Agnes Thibault. J.Alphonse Deveau in his book "The Thibault Family of Nova Scotia" combined Augustin and Justine into one person and listed Agnes as a second wife of Augustin. The census records clearly show this not to be correct. Does anyone have information on the ancestors of Justine and Agnes? She was born 28 Jun 1866 a Saulnier, possibly the daughter of a Joseph Saulnier and Marguerite Hall. She was a servant to an Augustin Blinn family in 1881. Justine was born 15 Jun 1846. The 1881 census listed him as a widower living with or next to a Charles Thibault 3 years younger than him.
